Goal: Supplement engineering staff with technical writing capability
Fulfilled a need for additional support to their engineering department, which was responsible for producing marketing materials.
Used technical data and relevant instructions to create sales and marketing documentation of Wire and Cable Management products.
Changed the design/format of the procedure to add clarity to the step-by-step instructions.
Build and populate selection tables.
Updated INSTALLATION and REMOVAL instructions to match the product.
Added sections for Installation and Removal Tools to provide the technician with an easy-to-find list of required tools.
Added safety information, such as CAUTION and NOTICE with a high emphasis on safety and readability.
Concepteted the desired illustrations and then work with the illustrator to produce them.
